Anaira Paisley Shrinathji Pendant

At the heart of this pendant sits a hand-finished carving of Shrinathji in deep black, complete with the fine painted detailing of the tilak, eyes and features. Around it opens a sweeping paisley frame of pave-set stones, drawing on the ornamental language of heirloom temple jewellery. The gold-tone metalwork curves and doubles back on itself, holding the whole composition in a single unbroken flow.

Colour is used deliberately here. Sapphire-blue pears open like petals along the crown, coral-red and lilac beads trace the outer arc, and a cluster of pearls gathers at the base before falling into three smooth lavender drops. Nothing is perfectly symmetrical, and that is the point — the eye keeps moving, finding a new detail each time it settles.
